01 Boots

Snowboard boots are an extremely important part of the setup. A good boot will support your foot and transmit your movements to the snowboard.

  • Spend some time trying on all the sizes, shapes and styles you can find. Find one that is supportive and comfortable.
  • Snowboard boots should fit like any other performance athletic footwear (soccer shoe, ice skate, etc). If you size them too big, and your riding will suffer, too small and you’ll be unhappy. The insulation typically packs-out and stretches so some initial tightness is not necessarily bad.
    • Often a good way to go about this is to find a size that you know is too small and work up from there. Often you’ll end up with something smaller then you would have initially picked off the shelf.
